"Serving the Universe on a Paper Plate"

Activity: Plotting Globular Clusters

Denote the earth at the center of a plate and mark 24 hours of right ascension around the perimeter of the plate.  Plot globular clusters or brightest stars according to right ascension toward the perimeter of the plate and analyze the patterns to determine their galactic locations.  Also note any patterns that fail to emerge on your plate as well.
