Activity: Music Shaker

Decorate the bottom side of two plates. Tape the the plates together with beans between them to make a musical shaker. As an alternative, use one plate that is folded in half and fill with beans. Secure the edge of the half-plate with tape or staples.

Note: Hefty manufacturers a Serve n' Store plate that interlocks easily. Two of them make it much easier to hold your plates in place while you secure the edges.
