Paper Plate Education
"Serving the Universe on a Paper
Plate"
Paper Plate Education is the evolving, cumulative efforts of many
individuals. Wayne James introduced the concept to colleagues at the Great
Lakes Planetarium Association (GLPA), which has since facilitated and encouraged
the open exchange of ideas, lesson plans, techniques, and applications. Primary support
for this endeavor comes from DePaul
University, the Office of Space Science Center for Education and Outreach, the
Space Telescope Science Institute, the GLPA
Executive Committee, GLPA members, and Bernhard Beck-Winchatz. All images are by Chuck Bueter,
unless otherwise noted.
